Rules are easy:
1) You must post on this thread to sign up for a game, run a game, or just let us know you're attending.
2) You must attend the event and sign our log book with your SaskGames I.D.

Bonus entry to draw:
1) Schedule a game on the forum with open spots for sign-up.
2) All Volunteers will get a bonus entry (Table registration, Learn to Play, and event set up). We appreciate all the help!

We will randomly determine all winners after the event and let the winner know they've won. We will announce all winners in this forum.

Teaching easy / accessible games to people. "Learn to Play" is a PGX initiative to help introduce new games to PGX attendees. Game teachers will teach a single game to groups of people over a two-hour block. Please contact us here if you're interested in volunteering.

No sign up is necessary. Drop in to learn one of these games.

Past tournaments have included King of Tokyo, Setters of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Camel Up, Dominion, Dixit, Lanterns, Kingdomino, Smash Up, Azul & more! We will be hosting an area at PGX devoted to role-playing games. If you would like to run a RPG event please let us know. Past games have included Pathfinder, Dungeons & Dragons, Star Wars, 3 6 9 & more!

GAME: Cogent Roleplay

DETAILS:The Cogent Community Project is currently playtesting the latest version of Cogent Roleplay ( https://cogentroleplay.com/ ).  This would be recorded as an official playtest for Cogent Roleplay, and all playtesters who wish to be credited will have their names (or aliases) published with the new version of the game.  The playtest will include:

  • Introduction to Cogent Roleplay, and Story Selection
  • Character Creation
  • Playtest
  • Feedback

Cogent Roleplay is a story-focused TTRPG game system designed to be played with various story settings (Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, Historic, or Comedy).  Cogent Roleplay is a D6-based system so playtesters are encouraged to bring their luckiest D6s with them.

PGX is a great place to showcase the many diverse miniature games in the hobby. PGX has hosted events for all sorts including Warhammer (Age of Sigmar, 40K, Kill Team, etc), Warmachine, Infinity, Star Wars X-Wing, Star Wars Legion, Gaslands & more!



GAME: Warhammer 40K Kill Team

DETAILS: Khoa is organizing a fun tournament for Kill Team. Deadline for sign-up for the tournament is June 5. This tournament is designed for new and experienced players. Players will happily show off their game and answer questions if any PGX attendees are curious about Kill Team. Heat: Pedal to the Metal Tournament

START TIME: 4:00 PM
DURATION: 60-120 minutes
MAXIMUM PLAYERS: 18

There are 2 rounds to the tournament. They consist of:
- 1 Preliminary Round (3 tables of up to 6 people) using only the base game
- 1 Championship Round (1 table of 6 people)

Tournament Format

-Players will be seated randomly at tables as evenly as possible.

The top two scoring players from each table from round 1 will advance to the Championship Round.

PRIZES:

The winner receives a highly sought after PGX mug!

Time limit: No round will go longer than 60 minutes. Final determination will be based on position of players on the track.

If we do not make our 18 player roster we will make amendments on the fly.
