Hey everyone,

The August edition of Strategy Saturday is going to be pushed back to the third weekend, August 16th.  The reason is that my schedule is spoken for on the 9th.  So hopefully this new date will still work with your schedule and you'll be able to join us then.

As for a feature game I have a hankering to play History of the World.  This is a military game themed around the many great civilizations that have at one time or another held sway over significant numbers of peoples and regions.  It can play up to 6 people ... but I really would like to have a total of 4. It is a longer game (think like Axis & Allies or Risk) but with 6 people it is really a longer game.  If you're interested in joining in, you can let me know by sending me a quick note and I'll try to hold you a spot at the table.  But don't be late or ... well, I'm sure someone else will join in .

Of course there will be other games as well.  Bring along a few of your favourites.

Strategy Saturday will be at Argyle Road Baptist Church (3510 Argyle Rd) from 7pm to midnight.  As usual we'll have our snack counter open so feel free to contribute a drink or something to munch on.  And feel free to bring along friends (and link to this post).
