Hey everyone,

Happy Cold New Year!!  Hmmm, that greeting does not sound like a very 'happy' one or one that we want to become the new standard.  But there's no denying it's COLD!  It's so nice that we can have a great warm place to meet each month for a night of fun and fellowship.

This weekend is the second one in January so it's time to start another year of Strategy Saturday.  This will be the 10th year of our gaming night.  So hard to believe!  Well it is the new year so bring out a new game (if you have one) or just one you've been itching to play.  I don't have a game chosen in advance this month.  I'm looking forward to letting others get their games to the table.

A couple of announcements:  first, February's games night will be one week early on the 1st (I'm away the following weekend).  Second, as you can see, I've scheduled the date for each of this year's Strategy Saturdays here on the Forum. There is a chance that these dates may change as they approach (ie. May 10th will change) but this will give you a heads up of what to expect.  I'll flesh out each posting as the dates draw nearer.

We'll be in the basement of Argyle Road Baptist Church (3510 Argyle Rd) from 7pm to midnight.  As usual we'll have our snack counter open so feel free to contribute a drink or something to munch on.  And feel free to bring along friends (and to forward this email).
