If you would like to schedule a game. Please post in this event thread with the following information:
Name of the game, when you would like to start, The duration of the game, and the number of players it can accommodate.
For anyone that was attending on the 8th, this will be a shortened version of the game that should only take about 90 minutes; if you weren't there, let me tell you it looked very interesting! I'll let everyone else have a chance to sign up before I throw my hat in. (That and I still have a few new games I want to bring to the table, so we'll see what's up haha.)
So, speaking of new games that I want to try out, I think I'm going to try doing things a little differently this week. Instead of scheduling a game/time, I'm going to throw up a short list of stuff I'd like to bring to the table this week. I really enjoy teaching games, almost as much as playing them, so I'd be happy to teach/play any of the following. Also, if someone knows any of the games, or wants to learn them at the same time as I'm playing another, I am okay with lending one out so long as it's in close-ish proximity to me ;p
This week, I'd be interested in bringing out any of the following:
Tzolk'in (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/126163/tzolkin-the-mayan-calendar)
The DC Deck-building Game (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/125678/dc-comics-deck-building-game)
Lords of Waterdeep (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/110327/lords-of-waterdeep)
and of course, my personal favourite, Small World (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/40692/small-world) (With expansions if enough people are familiar with the game, or just the base game if the majority are new... I'm happy either way :excited)
Again, please please feel free to make a request, anyone, I'm more than happy to oblige in any way if it means everyone gets to have fun and new experiences! Also, if you're really brave, you can check out my entire collection on boardgamegeek here (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/collection/user/t_shak) ...you just may have to click "Views" then "owned". In any case, good gaming and hope to see lots of people this coming Tuesday!
I have been interested in trying out Lords of Waterdeep if you are planning on bringing it out
Sounds good. I can schedule it for 6:30 if that works?
Also, if anyone else wants to do the same thing I did here, just go ahead and put a list of stuff you'd like to play... I can use forum magic to turn them into links and stuff. ;p
6:30 works for me
I can bring and teach WoW Miniatures (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/34496/world-of-warcraft-miniatures-game) (4 players, 60 minutes @ 6:30pm). I have 2 boards and enough characters for each, so I can teach 2 games at once if there is enough interest. I'll bring some other games as well, but depending on how many people want to play WoW, we'll see where it goes. :)
Sign me up for 1830 Railways and Robbers
D'oh, every time I host something, I miss out on something neat! I'd definitely like to check out the WoW minis game some time, I just started playing after an 8-month-ish (give or take) hiatus. Please tell me there's Pandaren? I love those guys. In any case, everyone's all set up. :excited

They stopped producing the game back in 2008 after making their first expansion set. It's unfortunate. But due to that, there is little new in terms of the new races and different race/class combos. The only good news I can tell you is that there is one Pandaren - Chen is a playable character. =D

And also due to the game being discontinued and being sold at a fraction of the cost, I have all of the playable figures. So you can at least have a look even if you don't get a chance to play.
I'd like to try out Lords of Waterdeep. I'm also bringing a buddy. If you could sign myself and Jay T. up for LoW that would be much appreciated. Thanks!
No horror games two days before Halloween?!
NeikeDjour - Oh yeah, I looked that up after I was done writing my last post. That's awesome.
Rosencrantz - Done and done.
Dana - How could I possibly mess that up, I was going to bring some. The best things I can think of that *I* have are Zombies!!! and World War Z, although I haven't figured out how to play the latter yet. Zombies!!! is super easy though.
I'd also be game for any "Halloween" themed games after Waterdeep if anyone has any.
I would live to get into the Barons and Robbers game
I'd like to get in for WoW if there will be an 815 playing. I don't get off work till 8pm.
I am going to Bring Ticket to Ride Nordic Countries for an 800 start time. 2 - 3 players. 30-60 minutes.

We could move WoW's start time up to 8:30pm, that way you and Tempest can get in. Seeing as no one else has signed up yet.
Then I can join in Lords of Waterdeep. :D
I am thinking about running a Carcassonne Campaign. This would be once a month at ChewsDay Challenge.
I own pretty much every expansion for the game and can teach each one. All together, it would be overwhelming. :)
Basically, the gist of this Campaign is that we would start by playing the basic game of Carcassonne. The winner of that game would choose the expansion options to add in for next month's game. There will also be a points system so we can have a little meta-game fun as the game develops. Remember, we add in a new expansion every month, the game will start simple and end epic by the time we are done.
I need 4 - 6 people to do this. So far, I think there are
1. Matt Robertson
2. Bryce Robinson
3. Damien Ryall
4. Becky Ryall
5. Logan Drydale
6. Cory Heistad
7. Shane Horton
If there is interest, I will schedule the first installment in this series for this coming ChewsDay Challenge, probably an 8:00pm start
More information about the structure of this series can be found HERE (http://sask.games/index.php?topic=3079.0)
Also, if others are interested, please let me know. I might be able to run this again , or work in spares, or somethin' :)
Matt if this would be applicable to newer players I would be interested.

You bet, this is open to anyone. Just be aware, it is a commitment to play once a month for approximately 6-9 months.
Put me in coach. Committing means it goes in my calander which makes it a scheduled appointment
I would be in matt for this carc league thanks
Unfortunately, something has come up and I can't make it. Please take myself and Jay off the list for Lords of Waterdeep. Thanks.
I have another player for 1830, Aimee, to add to the list.
confirming for carcassonne
Can you put JohnnyThrust into The Lords Of Waterdeep game, please. I gotta get him to make an account on here so I don't have to do it all the time. ^^;
Tyler, I would be interested in learning and playing the DC Heroes Deck Building game. (It could be anytime after you finish the Lords of Waterdeep game you're hosting.)
Looks like I may be participating in stuff til about 9-10, Barry... I can still bring it if you'll be around that late. Failing that, I am teaching it next week.
I don't know if Carcassonne is capped at 6 players but in case it is not, I'd definitely be interested Matt. The only contingency being it be an 8 or later game. If it's full or that's not doable for people I understand. And if it's being played tonight then that also counts me out as I am otherwise signed up. Will watch forums.
I'm bringing a friend tonight, Matthew. Please sign him up for the last spot in WoW.
I will play anything with a open spot at 6:30
I'm interested in getting in on the 6:30 Lords of Waterdeep game. As is gypsywolf if there's enough space for both of us.
See you then!
I would be up for playing the railways game if I can't get into the Lords of Waterdeep game :)
