Hello all.
I thought I would check in to see if any of you were interested in registering a team for Play with Your Food this year. We are in the final few months leading up to the 24Hr Celebratory board game event in March. Lots of time yet to get a team of 1 to 8 people together and hit your minimum fundraising target. The PwYF Facebook auction is coming up as well and is an easy way for teams to raise money.

General Discussion / Board Game Community Raises a lot of Money for Worthy Cause

We are on the home stretch for the Play with Your Food (PwYF) campaign and event. This weekend, over 100 PwYF Team members will gather at the UofR for the 24Hr celebratory event. What are we celebrating? Well, PwYF struck out this year to raise $40,000 for Carmichael Outreach. At the time of writing this we are at $66,397. This is beyond humbling. I am so absolutely proud of the board game community.
The power of play has been harnessed to raise a substantial amount of money for a very worthy organization. I am quite excited and just wanted to share this. I invite you to get involved in next year's campaign which will start this coming June. It is truly heartwarming to be involved in this community and this campaign.
Together, let's raise a lot of money and have fun doing it!

Hey everybody! All of the auction items have all been uploaded into the Facebook Auction. Lots of interesting and cool items with 100% of auction proceeds going to Carmichael Outreach Inc.
We have 301 items up for auction, bidding begins Feb 28 @ 08:00!
Remember to bid early and often and don't forget to share the auction far and wide so that we can raise as much money for Carmichael Outreach as possible!
