Hanafuda ("flower cards") is the name given to the Japanese cards that one can play different games with.  Hana-Awase ("flower arranging") is the name of the game that one can play with Hanafuda.  Hence, I am going to teach people how to play Hana-Awase with Hanafuda using my own house rules.  Other games people may be familiar with, such as Hachi-Hachi ("eighty-eight") and Koi-Koi ("come on, come on"), are actually derivatives or versions of Hana-Awase.  More games that can be played with Hanafuda can be found here: https://fudawiki.org/en/hanafuda/games.
