Hi everyone,

May is finely shaking off the last vestiges of our late spring.  Finally there is the return of greenery to our world. It's good to see the trees filling out and smelling the fresh grass being cut.

The May Feature Game will also be a returning to goodness. Pillars of the Earth is game inspired by the well known novel of the same title. In the game players are seeking to out contribute each other in the building of a medieval cathedral.  It is getting to be an older game now but it is still considered by many to be a one of the best examples of a game built around the 'worker placement' game mechanic. It is a good looking game that is relatively easy to learn and yet will offer some challenging game play.

Strategy Saturday will be at Argyle Road Baptist Church (3510 Argyle Rd) from 7pm to midnight.  As usual we'll have our snack counter open so feel free to contribute a drink or something to munch on.  And feel free to bring along friends (and to forward this invite).
