Hi everyone,

June might the best time of the year. Good weather, holidays on the near horizon, Saskatchewan is GREEN (and not just Roughrider green - it's actually green). On a downside mosquitoes are back. So have fun without mosquitoes, come to Strategy Saturday.

For June's Feature Game I'm going to reach back to my youth and re-visit a classic in Shogun (part of the 1980's GameMaster series which also included the more famous Axis & Allies). Shogun plays 2-5 players and is a straight up war game where players are seeking to dominate feudal Japan and become the strongest general - the Shogun. This game has also been reprinted under the names of Samurai Swords and Ikusa.

Strategy Saturday will be at Argyle Road Baptist Church (3510 Argyle Rd) from 7pm to midnight.  As usual we'll have our snack counter open so feel free to contribute a drink or something to munch on.  And feel free to bring along friends (and to forward this invite).
