X-Wing: 75 Point Tournament

DESCRIPTION
Compete against other players in this Swiss style tournament of X-Wing: Star Wars Miniatures.

Squad
- The total point value of your squad (ship, pilot, upgrades, etc) cannot exceed 75 points.
- You must chose a faction. Rebel or Imperials. You cannot mix factions to build your squad.
- A squad list must be submitted when you arrive for the event. That means, no squad building when you arrive. Have your squad built in advance. The tournament organizer will review your squad.
- Bring the required components from the X-Wing core set-- maneuver dials, range rulers, asteroids, damage cards, etc.

Game Play
- Players will be randomly matched for the first round robin game. Additional pairings are based on your results from the previous games.
- There is 75 minute time limit per game. 15 minutes for set-up / deployment. 60 minutes for the game.
- A five minute warning will be given. At the time of the warning, if you have not started a turn you will end your game. If you are in the midst of a turn you will finish that turn and then end the game.
- The number of matches played is determined by the number of players. If we have 8 players, for example, there will be 3 rounds of games and then the final match between the top 2 players.
- A rule book will be on hand for reference, but two event organizers will be on hand for rule clarifications. If need be, the final say on rules will be provided by ComicReaders' Chad Boudreau, who plays X-Wing but is not participating in the event.
- Official Fantasy Flight Tournament rules can be found at http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/x-wing/support/faq/X-Wing-Tournament-Rules.pdf

Android: Netrunner is an asymmetrical Living Card Game for two players. Set in the cyberpunk future of Android and Infiltration, the game pits a megacorporation and its massive resources against the subversive talents of lone runners.

Corporations seek to score agendas by advancing them. Doing so takes time and credits. To buy the time and earn the credits they need, they must secure their servers and data forts with "ice". These security programs come in different varieties, from simple barriers, to code gates and aggressive sentries. They serve as the corporation's virtual eyes, ears, and machine guns on the sprawling information superhighways of the network.

In turn, runners need to spend their time and credits acquiring a sufficient wealth of resources, purchasing the necessary hardware, and developing suitably powerful ice-breaker programs to hack past corporate security measures. Their jobs are always a little desperate, driven by tight timelines, and shrouded in mystery. When a runner jacks-in and starts a run at a corporate server, he risks having his best programs trashed or being caught by a trace program and left vulnerable to corporate countermeasures. It's not uncommon for an unprepared runner to fail to bypass a nasty sentry and suffer massive brain damage as a result. Even if a runner gets through a data fort's defenses, there's no telling what it holds. Sometimes, the runner finds something of value. Sometimes, the best he can do is work to trash whatever the corporation was developing.

Layne and Chad Boudreau are playing Android: Netrunner at 11:00am and invite other Netrunner players to join them. The more players the better as this will be an opportunity to showcase the game for new players. We hope to see several Netrunner players because we also want to talk about Fantasy Flight's Organized Play program for Netrunner. ComicReaders Downtown has a tournament kit. But in order to run the tournament at a future Prairie Game Expo or other ComicReaders' event we need a tournament organizer and tournament judge. Both Layne and Chad are too new to the game to fill those roles.
