Hmmm... I've never paid attention to Pixel Tactics before but I do love me some Fire Emblem / Shining Force, so it should be up my alley if those are comparables.

I can bring it out to Chewsday Challenge sometime if you'd like.

I can vouch for pixel tactics. It's pretty sweet, although I'd say it's more comparable to Ogre Battle.

I'm pretty excited about this one, Viceroy is coming out in English.  I am pledging on this one and there are some savings for 2 copies and 5 copies if anyone else shares my hype.

I personally have a lot of reservations of backing anything involving MayDay Games or Set Hiatt. Lots of shady dealings in the past. Just me, but Caveat Emptor.

Well, that's not good to hear.  Maybe it's not a great thing that they got the English publishing rights.

I'm with Matt.  I've never bought any Mayday products (I don't think) but I've read enough customer complaints, followed by transparently bogus excuses from Seth, that I'd approach anything they release with caution.

I don't know about either of those things. I would be a little eerie of Hobby World though, I did the Berserk kickstarter and it didn't go over so well. Though Berserk's creator showed Hobby World, and this one shows Mayday so... *shrugs* I've got Dead Man's Draw coming through Mayday and haven't noticed anything off about them yet.
