Hi everyone,

Winter has arrived. Ughh!! The first storm has blown in and driving is ... poopie.  I sure hope we only have to endure a few of these bad driving days this year rather then the constant barrage of last winter.  One upside, though, is that weather like this makes for good board gaming!

This weekend is the second Saturday of November and that means it time for Strategy Saturday.  This month the Feature Theme will be Retro-Games, games that are at least twenty years old - games that were good and still are good but you just don't play as often anymore.  So take a look through your collection and dust off an oldie-but-goodie and bring it down (of course you can still bring your newer games to play as well).

We'll be in the basement of Argyle Road Baptist Church (3510 Argyle Rd) from 7pm to midnight.  As usual we'll have our snack counter open so feel free to contribute a drink or something to munch on.  And feel free to bring along friends (and to forward this email).

PS - A heads up that for December we will be going a week earlier for Strategy Saturday.  December is always a hectic month as Christmas approaches so a bit sooner is a bit easier.  So mark December 7th on your calendar and I hope you'll join us then as well.
