DESCRIPTION

ComicReaders Downtown is hosting a Final Fantasy TCG Opus X Release Tournament to celebrate the release of Opus X.

This is a sealed tournament. Each player receives a release kit (actually a pre-release kit) and uses the contents of that kit to build a deck using the following information as a guideline:

Your kit contains 9 booster packs, meaning you will play limited sealed.

Decks must contain at least 40 cards (40 to 41 cards recommended).
Victory is attained by inflicting 6 points of damage instead of the usual 7.
Players can have more than three copies of the same card in their deck.

Each player should open their 9 boosters to create their "card pool".
They should then build a deck using only the cards in their "card pool".
Players should then participate in the tournament using the decks they have built.

Unlike "Simplified Sealed", the cost for Backups must be paid using at least 1CP of their Element.

All other regular game rules apply.

We need a minimum of 4 players to run this event. This event supports a maximum of 12 players.

We need a minimum of 4 players for this event.
This event supports a maximum of 12 players.
$40 entry fee, which is the purchase of a release box. The product is behind the counter.
Jessica will run the event, including pairings, etc. Assist her where possible.
The winner of the tournament will win 3 packs of Opus X. These have been removed from inventory.
