Hi everyone,

It's nice to be able to send out this announcement earlier than usual. I able to do this because I have a volunteer for the feature game in August.

The August Feature Game will be done by Cordawg. He will be bringing the highly anticipated, recently released game Scythe. Scythe is an game set in an alternate history of 1920's Eastern Europe. Five factions are trying to prove their superiority through managing their resources, building upgrades, capturing territory, and gathering Mechs (yes - mechs!) to push through to their objectives. This game has a military element but it is not so much a fighting game but a resource management game. The early reviews of this game are very positive; you can get a good sense of this game on the Board Game Geek and on reviews on YouTube:

Strategy Saturday will be at Argyle Road Baptist Church (3510 Argyle Rd) from 7pm to midnight.  As usual we'll have our snack counter open so feel free to contribute a drink or something to munch on.  And feel free to bring along friends (and to forward this invite).
