The convention runs:
Friday May 1st 6:00 pm until Midnight
Saturday May 2nd 9:00 am until Midnight
Sunday May 3rd 9:00 am until 6:00 pm

We strongly encourage people to purchase their ticket through eventbrite. Tickets purchased through eventbrite are $5 to $10 cheaper than those purchased at the door.
Please note that there is no daily ticket for Friday, we are again this year making attendance on Friday absolutely free

You will be emailed a registration document (within 24 hours) for you to register for your individual events. Fill out the document and email it back to us. Registration order will be by order of email receipt.

Are you getting excited? FRAGcon 2015 will soon be here. It is scheduled for May 1,2 and 3rd.

I am pleased to share with you this preliminary schedule which I have attached to this message.

You will note that there are five slots still open. I urge you to consider hosting a game during one of these five slots.

We often speak of moderating a game but I think that the term hosting a game is closer to what we are doing. A good host, understands the game and is able to teach the game to others, A good host makes sure that people are having fun. A good host invites players to play with them.

We remember our dear friend, James Sanheim as one of the hobbies greatest hosts. We honor his memory with the Sanheim Memorial Daytona 500 event and through our sportsmanship award. James was a host who was always happy to include new players, was clear when explaining a game and patient with our misunderstandings.

Have a look at the schedule so far, and I am sure you will find that it is missing some fabulous game that you would be the perfect host for.

We will soon be opening up registration and before you know it the convention will be upon us. Let's have fun.

Once a year the gaming community of Regina gathers at the Winnipeg Street Seniors Center for 3 days of gaming goodness. This is an event that is now in its 12th year. Looking out over the community of gamers in Regina, there is clearly enough gaming interest to have a wonderful 12th convention.

This is a call to all members of SaskGames to consider volunteering to help with the organization of this event. Be a part of the convention and help to make this the best convention yet. 

We have booked the hall for May 1st to 3rd, which is a week after comic con and a week before mother's day. Other then the location and time, I am open to consideration of any changes people would like to see.

We are looking for a convention coordinator, and directors for everything including events, publicity, door, auction, kitchen, security. These roles have been documented and you have a game plan that you can use, or you can create your own if you prefer.

We welcome you all to come and share some Christmas gaming with us. We are hosting our December games day right before Christmas on the 20th. Take a break from all your shopping and come and enjoy a new game, or an old favorite. No need to register for games, just show up and we will get you into the next game that is starting. You can bring your own games or play a game someone else brought.
