The category "board game" encompasses many a game, including several card-based games, and games that do not make use of a board! Party games, strategy games, family-friendly games, war games, dexterity games and even card games will be represented. 

Listed below, you will find the list of games scheduled to be played at FragCon. You are welcome to post on this forum to sign-up for a game. Please ensure you arrive in time to play the game. If your plans change, please post here as well so your spot can be opened up again. This list, the times, and the players are subject to change.

You are also welcome to bring your own games to the event and play at your leisure, or show up with no games and simply see what you can get into.

Well, we are now waiting for the next games day, which will be on February 27. What games are you bringing and what games would you like to see played.

I will be bringing an assortment of quick and easy games plus my favourites Power Grid and Tichu.  I hope to see you all there.

We will be beginning the sale of tickets for the convention which will be held late in April. Tickets for this years convention will be less than half of last years at only $15 for the weekend. (if purchased in advance)

So that I don't give you the wrong dates, I will just refer you to the pinned posts which detail this. The convention is in early may and will be held at the North East Community Centre, the location of FRAG games days.

Just want to make sure that people are aware that there will be no FRAG Games Day on Sept. 26,2015.

We have decided that we will game on the 19th with Prairie Game Expo.

Generally the games played have to do with what people bring out. There are some who like to sit down to a longer brain burner, and some who prefer a light game. New games are always of interest and we often play classics like tichu and wizard.

We generally start a new game based on the number of people standing around and then choose a game based on what that group wants to play.

If you show up and there is no game starting, sit down and watch a game that is finishing. That way we know you are looking for a game. If you and a friend sit down to play a game, we won't recognize that you are looking for a game.

Oh, and if you bring a game, feel free to suggest it. If there is interest in the game, it will get played.

Cecile, thanks for the idea of doing tichu, look what you started. 

FRAG (and PGX?)  will be hosting/organizing a TICHU event including teaching, supported practice and a tournament.

I would like to hold an event at PGX  Sept 19, in support of this event.
