After a 7.6 magnitude earthquake cripples Gotham City, even the villains square off against each other in a desperate bid to survive in (and conquer) this No Man's Land! One such villain is none other than the dangerous shape-shifter known as Ultimate Clayface!

Battle for control of the Power Plant with a 400 pt Modern Age Constructed force. At least 200 points must come from DC Heroclix: Batman, Streets of Gotham, & No Man's Land.

Gatecrash Pre-releases *Magic: The Gathering*

DESCRIPTION
The Gatecrash pre-release events allow you to experience the newest Magic: The Gathering set a week before it goes on sale.

ComicReaders Downtown is able to run a total of three pre-release events on Saturday, and three pre-release events on Sunday, if there is sufficient interest. The events are sealed events.

For the Gatecrash Pre-Release events, each player will choose from the guilds in Gatecrash (Orzhov, Dimir, Gruul, Boros, Simic) and receive a Guild Prerelease Pack (while supplies last) of five Gatecrash booster packs, a guild-specific booster pack, a special alternate-art Prerelease card unique to each guild, an achievement card, a Spindown life counter, a guild symbol sticker, and a letter from the guild's leader.

And for this event, players may use the promo card included with the Guild Prerelease Pack in their decks. That's because each promo card is designed to fit in with Gatecrash guild specific abilities. 

GUILD REGISTRATION

ComicReaders Downtown will be taking pre-registration for Gatecrash Pre-Release events. This is so players can choose their Guild in advance. There is no guarantee every player that pre-registers for a specific Guild will receive the Guild of their choice, but ComicReaders Downtown will do our best to acommodate requests.

In the wake of a 7.6 magnitude earthquake, Gotham City is in ruins and has been declared a "No Man's Land", cut off entirely from the outside world. However, in the wake of this catastrophic disaster when the Dark Knight is nowhere to be found, a new champion of Gotham arises – Batgirl!

Battle for control of Wayne Manor with a 300 Point force built from 6 sealed boosters of DC Heroclix: Streets of Gotham.

X-Wing - Refinery Raid - Sunday, December 16, 2012

DESCRIPTION
X-Wing is a new miniatures game from Fantasy Flight Games set in the Star Wars universe. Based on the Wings of War game system, X-Wing pits Rebels vs. Imperials in intense space combat. These are ship-to-ship dogfights in which players control the awesome ships of the Star Wars universe-- including X-Wing, Y-Wing, Tie Fighter and Tie Fighter Advanced. (Future expansions will include the A-Wing, Slave I, and even the Millennium Falcon.)

It is a time before the destruction of the first Death Star. (Luke and R2-D2 are not yet part of the Alliance and thus are not an option for players). The Rebel Alliance has learned of a refinery at the far edge of an Imperial sector. Intel suggests the refinery is guarded by a few seasoned pilots who are burdened with Academy Pilots sent to this distant station to gain experience.

At this stage of the conflict, the Rebels seek to disrupt trade and supply. This refinery, therefore, is a choice target. The Rebels dispatch two squads to attack and destroy the refinery. The Rebels are led by Biggs.

DESCRIPTION

The Battle of Yavin was a major battle of the Galactic Civil War that led to the destruction of the first Death Star and Luke Skywalker's first step to becoming a fully-fledged Jedi. It was one of the Rebellion's first major victories. Chad Boudreau of ComicReaders Downtown will run a Battle of Yavin scenario. This is a scenario based on "Dagobah Dave's Death Star Trench Run". Chad has increased the playing surface and made some modifications based his preferred style of play.
