so whatever happened to the special modern masters tourneys? I was waiting to hear more about a draft for non-invitees and never heard anything. I was in the store the other day and saw that you were selling packs for $12.99. does that mean the drafts were cancelled?

I do apologize for any confusion made, I meant that at the time being current players are eligible, but didn't expand to say that veteran players were going to be invited at a future time.

That said, I wish I could hold draft events for everyone in the community that wanted to take part, but Wizards of the Coast, makers of MTG, made this a limited product, which means there is not enough for everyone. This product is so limited I had someone call me from Calgary wanting to buy a box!

Feedback from our players has been very positive thus far. I feel I made the right decision. But I knew that whatever decision I made would not please everyone. That was bound to happen with such a limited and highly sought after product. I hope you continue to be a friend of ComicReaders Downtown, Brad, and I hope I see you at the veterans event.

not a fan of the way you guys handled this- been going to reader's for 20 years and played Magic for 12 of those years and I can't participate because I'm not a current active player. Way to alienate your clients.

Did Greg get any of these? If so, how much? Greg had asked me a few months ago if I wanted one but hadn't heard anything about it since, and when I stopped in last friday the guy working said they didn't get any

so it says on here that "DATE & TIME September 8th, 2010 at 17:00 (Normally runs until 20:30)"

but then it says "Warhammer League (Fall) meeting will take place at 6:30. Rules, league, etc will be discussed. We might be able to break in a few games so feel free to bring your miniatures."

so is it 5 or 630?
