SaskGames and Prairie Game eXpo would like to thank the following groups and businesses that help make the event possible:

Al Ritchie Community Association. Visit them online HERE (http://nonprofits.accesscomm.ca/alritchie/index.html)
The Al Ritchie Community Association (ARCA) has been actively advocating on behalf of the community and helping to serve its social and community needs since 1987.

Priorities, goals and activities are determined through interaction with the community at meetings, established programs, events and direct contact with our staff and board. The association operates with the philosophy that residents know what kind of programming they need and want.

PGX is a great place to showcase the many diverse miniature games in the hobby. PGX has hosted events for all sorts including Warhammer (Age of Sigmar, 40K, Kill Team, etc), Warmachine, Infinity, Star Wars X-Wing, Star Wars Legion, Gaslands & more!

GAME: Gaslands
ORGANIZER: Chad Boudreau
TIME: 1:00pm - 5:00pm
DURATION: 120 minutes per race
PLAYERS: 5 players max. per race
DETAILS: Gaslands is a tabletop miniatures wargame of car-on-car destruction in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Miniatures are Hot Wheels / Matchbox cars modified to look like post-apocalyptic machines of speed and destruction. Players will use one of several customized vehicles designed by Chad and his family. These vehicles will race across a post-apocalyptic wasteland populated with terrain crafted by Chad and his family. Players will learn as they play and each game will end after 120 minutes (approx.) with the winner being the player whose vehicle is closest to the final gate. (It is possible for games to finish in less than 120 minutes.)

Other players of Gaslands are invited to come to Prairie Game Expo, as well, to show off their builds and race against other players. There will be two tables available for Gaslands.

TABLE 1 (1:00pm)

Star Wars: Legion - Operation Silent Hail
ORGANIZER: Shawn Morris / Chad Boudreau
TIME: 10:00am - 6:00pm
DURATION: each player will play 4 games
PLAYERS: 2 players per game
DETAILS: Star Wars: Legion invites you to enter the ground battles of the Galactic Civil War as the commander of a unique army of miniatures filled with troopers, powerful ground or repulsor vehicles, and iconic characters like Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker. While innovative mechanics for command and control simulate the fog of war and the chaos of battle, the game's unpainted, easily assembled minis give you a canvas to create the Star Wars army you've always wanted to lead into battle — whether you fight for the monolithic, oppressive Galactic Empire or the ragtag Rebel Alliance.

Operation Silent Hail is a Strategic event that allows players to create a story across connected games
over the course of the event. Players play 1v1 against the same opponent for all four games of
a thematic event. Each game is connected, with the results of a game carrying over and creating
consequences in future games.

GAME: Shadowrun 6th World
ORGANIZER: Thomas Boxall
TIME: 9:30am
DURATION: 2 - 3 hours
PLAYERS: 3-8 Players
DETAILS: Shadowrun is a cyberpunk-themed RPG set in the year 2080.  Magic has returned to the world, and Megacorporations have taken control.  You play as a Shadowrunner, a professional criminal and pawn of the Megacorporations.  So grab your deck, load up on ammo and spells, and above all else, never make a deal with a dragon.

I will be running an introductory session of Shadowrun 6th World, the latest version of the Shadowrun RPG system.  I will be using a custom Random Mission Generator based on the types of characters the players choose to play.  Players can be anywhere between new players to seasoned veterans of past Shadowrun versions.  We will not be going through character creation, but players with their own version of 6th World will be allowed to bring their characters to the table (GM approval will be required).  Pre-made characters will also be available.  For new players, an overview of the Shadowrun Universe will be provided.  Players are expected to bring a pencil, eraser, and a pile of D6s (you will be using between 3 - 20 dice in total).
