Sid Sackson night!

We'll start with Executive Decision (1971).  This is an interesting economic game where you are manufacturing widgets and have to bid on materials needed to make them.  If you bid too low and the supply gets exhausted by higher bidders, you won't bet any materials!  But if you bid too high, your price will be accepted and you'll spend the higher price you didn't need to.  Easy to learn, but with lots of strategy, this game looks to be really interesting and so I'm going to break it out for the first time tonight.

We'll then play Acquire (1964).  This is Sid Sackson's masterpiece and is really a blast to play.  A solid economic game, your goal is to make the most money by investing in hotel chains and deciding when to use your inside knowledge that could result in mergers happening.  It's super easy to learn and a real joy to play.  You'll want to play it again.

Aw, too bad, Ryan but hopefully everyone will be feeling better soon.  I'm in the Networks next Tuesday so I'll have to take a rain-check for a future date.
