Hope you all have enjoyed the Thanksgiving weekend. Personally I hope that all the snow we received leading up to it will leave and allow for some nice weather before it returns for winter. Winter is nice but Fall is better.
I've been holding off on announcing the Feature Game for October as I potentially have another activity to balance that weekend, but with no news on it forthcoming, I'm going ahead an announcing that the game featured will be Taluva (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/24508/taluva). Some of you will be familiar with this game as it's a favourite of mine. It recently received an reprinting with improved art and packaging. The game plays 2-4 players and is a quick abstract strategy game in which players attempt to expand their settlement on an active volcanic south sea island. Strategy Saturday will be at Argyle Road Baptist Church (3510 Argyle Rd) from 7pm to midnight. As usual we'll have our snack counter open so feel free to contribute a drink or something to munch on. And feel free to bring along friends (and to forward this invite).
