Use this thread to request games for Chewsday Challenge:
- Do you have a certain game you want to play but don't own?
- Did you buy a new game and hope that there's someone who could teach it to you?
- Do you have a list of games you want to play for 2016?
- Do you have a really unique game that you're not sure others would be interested in?
Post on this thread!
I am going to try to have 1 play of each game on BBG's top ranked 100 board games (https://boardgamegeek.com/browse/boardgame?sort=rank&sortdir=ascB) list by the end of 2016. If you see a game on this list and you'd be interested in bringing it out and teaching it please let me know.

Thanks awesome, Ryan. Those are two games I thought would be more difficult to get a play of.
I have eldritch horror. I can bring it to pgx and if you don't get around to playing it there then you can borrow it. We don't play it much.
Actually I don't think that's the one we have. I'll check this weekend.

I have and would also like to play more Summoner Wars.
I'd be down for a Summoner Wars league or tourney if we could get enough people who are interested.
I'd definitely be interested. I have almost everything except the second summoners. I bought Alliances but haven't tried them yet.
Games I would like to play at CC in 2016:

Games I want to play in 2016:
Suburbia
I can bring Suburbia sometime. :)
If people are still going to be showing before the year is out, I can do Legendary Encounters: Alien, and Suburbia.
I don't have a list of games I'm really looking to play, since I usually get to play the ones I want as the year goes on. I'll probably want to get a campaign of Arcadia Quest going when I finish painting it, and then when the new stuff arrives in the summer.
I have Roll for the Galaxy that I haven't played yet so I will learn over Christmas and bring out
Hey guys,
I don't know when I'll be out next, but here's a list of the games from this thread that I have and would love to bring. I'll try to look at this list and bring a couple next time I come out.... whenever that is!
Resistance: Avalon
7 Wonders: Duel
Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective
Coup
Battlestar Galactica
Witness
Pax Pamir
Through the Ages: A story of civilization - may be too long unless we start early.
Here is my want to play list. I try to keep this current. It has some obscure titles on it as well:

Sure, only condition is that it will have to be at 3:00 pm or after ( helping Chris with Dicemasters learn to play from 1-3 and working a shift at the registration table in the morning ).
That works for me. I am also volunteering from 9-12 so anytime that works for you will be just fine for me :lol can't wait to try it! Thanks!
Dana,
I have and can teach you Eldritch Horror and Legendary Encounters: Alien!

I have Arctic Scavengers Derek which I want to get out before the end of the month if possible or early next
Being a big Lord of the Rings fan I have strangely neglected this area of gaming and must remedy it this year. Interested in trying War of the Ring and Battle of Five Armies. And any other LOTR games people want to teach :excited
I've also got Lord of the Rings (Knizia co-op) and Lord of the Rings: Confrontation I could bring.
War of the Ring is probably too big for the tables at CC. The board is massive and there are a tonne of pieces.
Derek:
Games we can help you with:
Tigris & Euphrates, Troyes, Luna (first-play list)
Caverna, Five Tribes, Imperial Settlers, Keyflower, Mottainai, Russian Railroads, Viceroy, Tzolk'in (second-play list)
I also got a screaming deal on Aquasphere ($20 US at amazon.com, and thanks to other purchases was able to get free shipping to my Montana address). Might be a month before it hits Regina though.
I won't be able to make Chewsday Challenge for several weeks but you know where to find us.

Dana and Brittani:
We've got a copy of Brass in our collection and we'd love to bring it to CC one day. The things is... we've never played it, as it is a 3-4 player game.
If anyone could teach it, that would be awesome. If not, then I'll make sure I know the rules and how to explain them when we bring it.
I saw Caverna on someone's list; that's a game I'll always make time for. Depending on how many people play, it's not the greatest CC game because it does have a fairly large foot print. In any case, if someone requests it and we have proper table space, I'd love to bring it out some time.
Dana, I see you have Arcadia Quest on your list. If you're interested in starting a campaign, or maybe trying out one of the first scenarios to see how it works I can teach that one as well. Bear in mind it also has a large footprint.

I'd commit to a few games, but before I can say yes to a campaign, I'd like to give it a shot.
d.
Yeah, that's fair. I'd recommend at least 2 games to get the proper experience. I'm taking my sweet time painting the minis, but let me know a time (can be later in the year) where you'd like to try it out.
A full campaign is 6 games. Which isn't too bad. I would also recommend at least 2 games, and if you can, 4 player games. I'd be up for playing with you guys for your test games if you don't find other players that just want to try it out.
I would be in for trying out Arcadia Quest
Looks like we have 4 for Arcadia Quest. I'm fine for whenever.
Haha, that's awesome. Y'all work out when you wanna start, I'm down whenever.
Well if there is one more that wants to try it out, that spot is open. I'll just take it if you need to fill out a game, as I've already played before.
I'm going to flip this and list some games that I plan on bringing out this year:
- Merchants & Marauders
- Pax Porfiriana
- Spartacus: A Game of Blood & Treachery
- Imperial
- Struggle of Empires
- Risk: Star Wars Original Trilogy Edition (the 3-player one from 2006)
Count me in for Struggle of Empires & Imperial!
