Want to play a grand ol game of betrayal, dynastic families, and conquest??? Well Fief:France 1429 may well be up your alley!
We had a game of this at the 24 hours to play with your food and I've been itching to play it ever since. Shut Up and Sit Down has a video review of it over on their site if you want to check it out.
Also, I think 4 hours is a comfortable amount of time and it could very well be done after 2 hours. It just depends how things go.

Yumi and I will be attending the Prairie Game eXpo.
And please sign me up for the Carcassonne tournament.
I'll be in attendance, not sure what I'm going to play yet. I would love to get a large (6 or 7 players) game of Caverna if people are interested. If enough people are interested, I'll schedule it. In the mean time, I'll just wait and see what's going on.

Do you guys have your own fleets? If so we can book more tables. If you want a learn to play demo we can do that as well.
Curtis
No fleets. We have been playing X-wing a bit lately and were interested in a learn to play demo if one was offered. If not, no worries. We can just watch the action.
Im in for 40k
I'm in for 40k.
Okay, I'll schedule Caverna bright and early, say 9:30 AM. I'd really really like to try and get 7 people if possible. With so many players, the game will probably take 3-4 hours by my estimate, but I might be off. (The rules say approximately 30 minutes a player). I would prefer this time to have experienced players if possible, just because I'm going for a full game BUT if you're interested in playing and haven't played before, I can teach you. (It really is a great game!)

Easiest comparison is X-wing is Checkers, and Armada is Chess.
And X-wing does not have STAR DESTROYERS! :D
I will be there at 5 to put on a demo game. And we will have a few other tables going as well. Lots to see, ask lots of questions.

Two of my favourites!
Acquire is from 1962 but is just as fun to play today as it ever was. It's easy to learn but still has a ton of strategy. Minimum 3 players.
Yunnan is from 2013 and has quickly become one of my favourites. It's a pure euro with zero randomness, but is surprisingly easy to learn and takes surprisingly little table space. I'd prefer to have 4 or 5 with this but it's also pretty good with 3.
Please sign Lori up for Acquire. (She'll be busy teaching a game during Yunnan.)
Don't be afraid of signing up for either if you're not familiar with them!
Alright, go ITS objectives. We'll need engineers, doctors and hackers.
None of which I possess, eep.
