ComicReaders' Downtown Warhammer Fantasy Escalation League - Season 3 - 2500 Point Tournament

DESCRIPTION
A 2500 point tournament to end Season 3 of the ComicReaders Downtown Warhammer Fantasy Escalation League. The top 8 players from the Escalation League use the knowledge they have obtained during the escalation months to create a strong army to fight other armies and hopefully come away victorious!
DATE & TIME
Sunday, October 26, 2013 @ 10am - 8:00pm
ComicReaders Downtown will open for Tournament players at 9:45am on Sunday. (Store opens to the public at 12pm.) We anticipate the Tournament ending around 8:00 pm. The store will close to the public at 5pm.
TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE & PRIZES
Players are required to have at least 2 copies of their roster on hand. A copy of the roster needs to be submitted to the store at the beginning of the tournament, any discrepancies in the list and what is fielded will result in disqualification from prizes. Players are recommended to have a copy of their FAQ on hand in case army specific questions are asked by the opponent.
Games will promptly start at 10:00am. Each round of play will be a maximum of 3 hours (shorter if everyone is done playing their game), if the game is not finished, it will end on the closest full game turn, and the game will be decided by what is dictated in the book.
First round of play Blood and Glory, starting at 10:00am
Second round of play Dawn Attack, starting at the latest 1:30pm
Third round of play Battleline, starting at the latest 5:00pm
Terrain will be pre set-up, with only Forests counting as Magical terrain.
There will be 4 different categories for prizes. Please note that a player may only win one prize. Players receive $50 of Games Workshop product (restrictions will be applied and explained to winners)
Best Overall - Combination of battle points and Sportsmanship points
Best General - The player with the highest battle points at the end of 3 rounds
Best Presentation - The best painted/converted army as voted by fellow players
Best Sporting Player - The player with the highest Sportsmanship points

For the most part Maeson, only one of the situational scenarios Blood and Glory/Watchtower will show up in the tournament, I just haven't decided which one yet.
Have you considered creating your own scenarios?
If Devin can't make it / doesn't reply/ no-show's...

I will be taking the last spot, it's a little late to ask anyone to take it, which is my fault for not being strict on deadline dates. But in case he does show up, that way I don't have to turn someone away.

There is an update to the BRB that officially allows 50% Of both Lords and Heroes. I'm not expecting this to be allowed for the tourney but just sayin in case others might apply this to their lists. Official verdict Lareina?

If anyone is missing a flame template, it's at the store.
The unfortunate thing is that only 6 people showed up, so it was a smaller tournament, but we still had some memorable moments!
Had a 3 way tie for first!
I took out the Best Overall prize, and then was going to do something nice with the prize, but then everyone had to screw it up and have a 3 way tie :P
- Nathan and Aaron tied for first, and so both got a Best General Prize.
- Chris got Most Sporting Player beating Devin by 1 point, and he did technically tie for first as well, but he gave his Sporting Player award to Devin.
- John got the Best Painted prize.
