I picked up the co-operative, deduction game Mysterium so I'm bringing it out on Tuesday. The game's actually called Tajemnicze Domostwo as it's the Polish edition but it's language independent so that shouldn't be a problem (also I downloaded the English instructions). One player's a ghost who's trying to communicate who killed them, with what and where but they can't speak (since they're a ghost and all). The other players have "psychic powers" so the ghost player influences their dreams to give them clues (meaning the ghost player gives them big cards with surrealist imagery as hints). The psychic players first have to deduce which suspects were there the night of the horrible deed (along with where they were and what they were wielding) and then work out the final murderer before the end of the game. If they succeed, everyone wins!

It's easy to pick up and everyone's welcome to play. Though it doesn't take up a lot of table space I'd like to play with the max number of players (7) so we'll start at 8:30pm. It's around 45-60min though it might go a little longer with 7 players. And if the game goes short then we can always tee it up, again.

As Matt Robertson put it, it's like Dixit and Clue had a baby!

I would like to teach Lords of Xidit. This will be the 2nd time I've played & first time I've taught it so I have added 30 minutes to the game time but it could run a bit longer than the 2 hours I've posted. It is a fairly fast moving game once you get into it & it has one of the best winning scenarios I've ever seen. Sign up & come check it out.

I will be running some Descent (2ed.) if anyone is free. Got room for 3 more players (up to 5 players total).

Start time, 6-6:30pm... depending on players. 2ed. is not as long as the previous Descent but there is a bit odof setup time. expect 3hrs play time.
