If you would like to schedule a game. Please post in this event thread with the following information:
Name of the game, when you would like to start, The duration of the game, and the number of players it can accommodate.Due to the overwhelming success of ChewsDay Challenge we might need to limit table space in the early evening if attendance is high and the restaurant is busy. We ask that larger-sized games be planned for 7:30 and later after Boston Pizza's dinner rush when we can spill out into the dining area, if needed, and with the restaurant's permission. Please be considerate when choosing your table area to maximize player density. Thank you for helping make ChewsDay Challenge a success!

I guess we could do a sign up sheet. I'll prep it.
Im gonna have to cancel Star Wars as I am in the Carcassonne league.
How does this work Dana - only 4 people play each night?
Murray
Everybody plays. I'll add spots as people sign up. Sorry to confuse you.
Confirming for Carcassonne.
sign me up
I am out of town so I won't be able to make it to the first Carcassone league night :(
Dang.. Looks like everything is already full.

Oh, I'm sure more stuff will be posted before Tuesday rolls around again although the carcassone league might make the offerings a bit more bare. I'm not sure if I'm bringing something for 6:30 or if I'll wait to see what else pops up. If you haven't subscribed to the thread you definitely should!
In for league night.
I'm not sure if there will be much interest but I would like to play Baltimore & Ohio. It is a railway/stock manipulation game. Because it is so long, alternatively we could set a finish time beforehand. For most games you would not want to do that but for this one we could get away with it without changing the gameplay. So we could set a hard 10 o'clock finish time if that works better for any potential players.

I'm in for CARCASSONNE
Mark,
I'm Very interested, but I am booked that night!
I'm bringing out the new dice/sci-fi game Roll for the Galaxy on Tuesday. It's a spin-off of Race for the Galaxy but, from what I've heard (I've never played the original), it's more streamlined and quicker to learn. Players use dice to build their galactic empire by developing technologies giving special powers, settling worlds and generating/shipping/consuming products for different ends (money or victory points). It's a game with a lot of tiles and a lot of dice.
Everyone's welcome to give it a try including new players (I'm fairly new to the game, too, since the game itself is fairly new). I would say there's a bit of a learning curve for new players that might add some time. So the 45min playing time on the box isn't going to be accurate - more likely +60min.

I'll also bring out the pirate game Black Fleet on Tuesday. It's a pick-up-and-delivery game where each player has two ships. One is a merchant ship that's picking up goods from various ports and delivering them to others. The other is a pirate ship that's robbing other players' merchant ships and burying their ill-gotten treasure. There are also navy ships that everyone can control to sink pirate ships. Movement is generally dictated by cards, your various actions earn you shiny, shiny dabloons and fortune cards help you along the way. Finally there are variable power/victory cards you buy to help your cause and win the game (a little like the way landmark cards work in Machi Koro).
Everyone's welcome to play - the game's fairly straightforward. The box says 60 minutes but it's likely closer to +75min with 4 players and players learning.

I'll sign up for Roll For the Galaxy, too.
Can I get in on that last spot in Roll for the Galaxy at 6:30?
You can sign me up for Black Fleet, please.
Since I don't imagine the Carc league game going longer than an hour, I'd be willing to do something not-too-long at 9. I can take requests if I have anything people are looking to play.

Me and JAson would be interested in Black Fleet if there is room for two
Just picked up Quarriors!, and I'm hoping to play a couple of games before Carcassonne this Tuesday. I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but from what I've read so far it's a deck building game with dice, and very light on strategy.
GAME: Quarriors! (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/91536/quarriors)
TEACHER: Kelly (Freakish)
START TIME: 6:30
DURATION: 60+ Minutes with teaching
PLAYERS: 2-4
Freakish, I've put Quarriors down for an hour, just to be on the safe side and to give you time to get a couple of games in before Carcassonne. I've played Quarriors! once or twice, and the first game can be a bit slow as players are learning the icons and referring to the cards to determine which dice they want, so 30 minutes would probably be pushing it for a learning game.
Thanks. Updated.
I'd like to sign up for quarriors at 6:30.
I'd also like to host the following game:

I just got my copy of Brewcrafters in today, as well as some small games from Dice Hate Me Games: Pie Factory, Diner, and Brewcrafters the Card Game. I'd like to bring the full game of BC out for 6:30. The box states 30 minutes/player, so although it is a 5 player game, I would like to limit it to 3 players so we might be done by 8:30 with learning/teaching. I'd like the play the smaller ones after if anyone is interested. :)

I'm going to have to pull out of Roll for the Galaxy. I'm staying home from work to rest and get over a cold, so it wouldn't be quite right to go out and play games tomorrow night. :) See you in a couple of weeks.
I'll take that now-open spot in Roll for the Galaxy.
Please sign me up for Brew Crafters. Thank you :)
Can I please get signed up for Evolution?
