If you would like to schedule a game. Please post in this event thread with the following information:
Name of the game, when you would like to start, The duration of the game, and the number of players it can accommodate.
Due to the overwhelming success of ChewsDay Challenge we might need to limit table space in the early evening if attendance is high and the restaurant is busy. We ask that larger-sized games be planned for 7:30 and later after Boston Pizza's dinner rush when we can spill out into the dining area, if needed, and with the restaurant's permission. Please be considerate when choosing your table area to maximize player density. Thank you for helping make ChewsDay Challenge a success!

I asked my friend if I can borrow it for Feb the Tenth and he said yes. It will be the first game but there will be characters from Forbidden Alchemy and Call of the Wild.
I would just recommend starting to set up Mansions of Madness before 6:30 as that process itself can take 20 minutes or more.

I was thinking I'd pick a story and organize it at home before bringing it to Boston Pizza. I mean, by picking the cards I'd need for the story.

That's a good idea. Sorting the cards and tiles beforehand will save a lot of time.
And depending on somethings, I might be willing to do a second game after the first.

Gonna see if there's interest in getting a few games of X-Wing going. Will start around 7:30 to 8:00pm depending on how busy the restaurant is, as we will need 1 or 2 of the round tables in the main seating area. Hopefully some of the people with their own ship collections will be able to make it. New players are welcome as well, I will provide all the ships, materials and mats needed to play the game. If 4 people sign up I will just teach new players & moderate. If there's less than 4 players I will play as well.
In for Carcassonne.

Calling All Guilds!
I would like to bring out and do a full campaign of Arcadia Quest sometime. I would like it to have the full 4 players (so I'm looking for 3 more), and I think it would take 3 game nights to complete (there are 6 levels, and you can finish at least 2, maybe 3 in each night). If I can get enough people interested, then I would like to do it 3 game nights in a row. Please let me know on here or via PM if you would be interested in joining.
Thanks!
out for Carcassonne
Sign me up for carcassonne please.

Also, I really wanna play Arcadia quest again, so count me in. If you start it on this Tuesday, can you start at around 9? I neeeeed to redeem myself after my poor showing last time ;p

We could start it at a later time on this tuesday because the first 2 levels tend to go faster then the rest of them. But the other 2 tuesdays afterwards we would have to start earlier.

That'd be awesome. Most nights I can't start earlier than 7:30 since I usually work Tuesdays. The only other conflicts are the carcasonne league and potentially the Risk Legacy league which should be wrapping up really soon.
Please sign me up for Manhattan Project - I've been wanting to give it a try. Though I haven't played it, before. I hope that's all right.

If we did it 3 weeks in a row, including this Tuesday, then it won't be in conflict with the Carcassone games after this night. I'm not sure what your Risk schedule looks like.

That's totally okay, no experience necessary. The rules and mechanics are pretty straight forward
Please sign me up for The Manhattan Project.
As I now have my voice back I think it's safe to say that I'm on the mend from being sick. So I'm going to try bringing Scoville out again on Tuesday.
I think a couple of people who signed-up before are in the Carcassonne League so I'll schedule this to start at 9:00pm. That way it'll start after Carcassonne finishes, in case they still want to give it a try.

Our next game is Feb.17th... there's two games left, so we might finish them both that night.
Hi do we need to add ourselves to the list of players for Carcissonne? I had registered and will bring my funds on the 10th!

Hmm, maybe I'll start it in a month or so then. I kind of want to do it in a burst and get it finished quickly.
Alternatively, if we find 1-2 other players, we could do it on a night other than the tuesday CC nights.
I just had a blast the last time we played. :D

My big Kickstarter came in and the War of the Elder Gods is a go. I have room for 2 more players (Jason already took the first spot). Now I've only played this once so far and it took about an hour and a half. Big board and lots of nice looking figures involved. Game itself is a combination of Territory control for Resources and Point accumulation, with each faction having unque rules.

This is a civilization styled card game that's all about the tech-tree. Age I starts with the invention of things like the wheel and writing, progresses through Age II with windmills and the printing press, builds to Age III with factories and steam engines and gradually ends up in Age IV with automobiles and oil extraction. The art is super delicious in this one but as per most civ-type games there are decisions to be made that lead to longer play times although I think it will depend quite a bit on the individual players.

Mahjong is actually pretty cool with all the tiles and Chinese characters. It's a very tactile gambling game, steeped in tradition. We have a couple sets but don't get it out much these days. The computer game of tile matching just uses the tile themes/art whereas real Mahjong is more like rummy and has much more interesting scoring. I'd encourage people to check it out if it gets to a future Chewsday Challenge. Don't be misled by the computer tile matching game of the same name.
Seems like we need another late night game.

Like Lori mentioned this will be the more traditional way to play, plays similar to Rummy or Poker where each player has a hand of tiles where you draw one and discard one on each turn. You could play the more modern solitaire version with the tiles I have but this is the version I prefer playing.
