Pandemic
In Pandemic, several virulent diseases have broken out simultaneously all over the world! The players are disease-fighting specialists whose mission is to treat disease hotspots while researching cures for each of four plagues before they get out of hand.

The game board depicts several major population centers on Earth. On each turn, a player can use up to four actions to travel between cities, treat infected populaces, discover a cure, or build a research station. A deck of cards provides the players with these abilities, but sprinkled throughout this deck are Epidemic! cards that accelerate and intensify the diseases' activity. A second, separate deck of cards controls the "normal" spread of the infections.

Taking a unique role within the team, players must plan their strategy to mesh with their specialists' strengths in order to conquer the diseases. For example, the Operations Expert can build research stations which are needed to find cures for the diseases and which allow for greater mobility between cities; the Scientist needs only four cards of a particular disease to cure it instead of the normal five—but the diseases are spreading quickly and time is running out. If one or more diseases spreads beyond recovery or if too much time elapses, the players all lose. If they cure the four diseases, they all win!

Note: We will play the new edition of the board game. New art, new characters, same great game. If there is enough player interest I will add in the new On the Brink expansion that came out a couple weeks ago.

Imagine that you're a supercomputer. Now imagine that you're bored. So you dream up a little contest for you and a couple of your supercomputing buddies. Your task is to move one of the stupid little robots out on the factory floor through a series of checkpoints scattered throughout the factory. The wrinkle, however, is that the factory floor is filled with all kinds of inconvenient (if not down-right deadly) obstacles located in various locations: conveyor belts, crushers, flame-throwers, pushers, teleporters, oil slicks, pits, et cetera. But the real fun comes when the robots cross each other's path, and suddenly your perfect route is something less than that...

Pandemic seems interesting, however, I must claim vengeance for my fallen robot, Twitch. Sign me up for Robo Rally please!

Chad indicated that he wanted to give RoboRally a go so I changed the game time from 6:30 to 8:30.

I've updated the information about Pandemic. We will be playing the new version of the game and if there is enough interest I will put the new On the Brink expansion into action as well.

Pandemic is fun, but I have obtained a copy of Ticket to Ride which needs playing! I would like to run it for 6:30; 5 players, about 90 mins.

I guess I'll jump in on Pandemic as well. I was potentially going to bring a quick game to try and teach, but my brain's been fried this week so far haha.

I'm a bit late requesting my name be added to a game event this time, but I notice there's still a spot left for Pandemic, so please include me.

Tempest and Bellis, there was room in Pandemic so you are both in.
