A game of world exploration and empire building. You represent a European empire colonizing the Mediterranean and shipping to all parts of the world to increase the empire's glory and status in Industry, Culture, Finance and Politics. When a region opens up (i.e. the shipping lanes are full) a player can colonize, attack or retrieve resources from that region. The game plays easily as each turn a player builds a building giving him a special action or increasing one of his main statistics, and gets a number of people with which to activate buildings for special actions (Ship, Occupy, Attack, Draw or Pay). Increased skill in Politics allow the player to hold cards that help increase his statistics and glory.

Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game is an exciting game of mistrust, intrigue, and the struggle for survival. Based on the epic and widely-acclaimed Sci Fi Channel series, Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game puts players in the role of one of ten of their favorite characters from the show. Each playable character has their own abilities and weaknesses, and must all work together in order for humanity to have any hope of survival. However, one or more players in every game secretly side with the Cylons. Players must attempt to expose the traitor while fuel shortages, food contaminations, and political unrest threatens to tear the fleet apart.

After the Cylon attack on the Colonies, the battered remnants of the human race are on the run, constantly searching for the next signpost on the road to Earth. They face the threat of Cylon attack from without, and treachery and crisis from within. Humanity must work together if they are to have any hope of survival...but how can they, when any of them may, in fact, be a Cylon agent?

Cory will be running a 6-player game of BSG. Please note that this game could run upwards of 5 hours in length. It is worth the time investment, but all players should be aware of the length.

Becky and I would absolutely be down for Battlestar at some point, but we will not be there until 7 or 7:30 this week.

Will you be playing more then one game of Dominion?  I might be a bit late for the 7 oclock, but would be willing to play the second round.  Let me know.

Bringing Alcatraz: The Scapegoat. It's a 4 player semi coop game (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/96613/alcatraz-the-scapegoat) which I've only played once. Three seats open at 7 pm, should be about an hour.

Also would there be interest in a nice cutthroat game of Monopoly some tuesday?

Chris and I will be bringing Garden Dice, which is a 4 player gardening game, we can start it at 8:30, takes about an hour and a bit to play, pretty easy to learn.
