In 1675, after a long career in piracy, Henry Morgan skillfully gets appointed Governor of Jamaica, with the explicit order to cleanse the Caribbean of pirates and buccaneers !
Instead, he invites all of his former "colleagues" and comrades-in-arms to join him in his retirement, so they can enjoy the fruits of their looting in all impunity.
Each year, in remembrance of the "good old days", Morgan organizes the Great Challenge, a race around the island, and at its end the Captain with the most gold in his holds is declared Grand Winner.
Sign me up for diamonds club
Sign me up for both.
Please sign me up for both! Thanks :)
Baerik and Stine, you are now signed up for Diamonds Club and Jamaica.
Diamonds Club is now full, folks.
I think for this night I'd like to host Talisman at 6:30. I don't think there's a set maximum of players, but I think 4-6 is the optimal number range. It's an adventure style board game that's ultimately player-versus-player, although there can be co-operative elements as well. The game length can vary, depending on circumstances and how many people play; I'd say 3-4 hours. I'll be using the quickplay rules to try and shave some time off.
Can I drop out of diamonds club and then sign up for talisman please and thank you
Cory
Sign me up for Jamaica please-Jeff
Apologies to all, but I will not be able to attend this event.
Diamonds Club will not run, and I will have to pull out of Jamaica.
Sign me up for Jamaica please.
Hi, can Stine and myself be taken off of Jamaica and put into Talisman please
Sign me up for Tailsman please.
Sign me up for Talisman please.
I can bring out Maori if anyone wants to try it out.http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/40425/maori
and sign me in for Jamaica.
Yo Bryce, I've made Maori the Featured Game of the week. Awesome!
This is a quick fun game. I'm sure we can get a few in.
Please sign Becky and myself up for Maori. Am I totally off, or does it somewhat resemble Carcassone?
Maori to Carcassone
Both have tiles......that is about it for similarities. Oh, and they are both great games too.
Ah. The way that Magic and Solitare both use cards :neener
I would like very much to try Maori, please.
Sorry, I am not going to make it, please take me of Jamaica
If anyone else is looking for a game tonight and everything else is full, Talisman can accomodate more people; I'll just have to adjust the rules slightly for faster play.
I am hoping to be there around 9:30-10 ish so hopefully I can get a game in or 2.
Thanks for the games, everyone! Sorry to everyone in Talisman for not really teaching it as well as I could have. Probably won't be bring it out again anytime soon haha. More of a clunker than I remember.
