What: The ChewsDay Challenge series of events is part of an initiative to host a public weekly game night that is welcoming to new members and is a way for people new to boardgames to experience a beginner friendly atmosphere. A opportunity for people new to designer board games or veterans of the hobby to come out, meet 'n' greet, and play some games.   This is held at a great location with full food and beverage service. Come on out and try some games.

The venue is also a great place for Wargamers and Strategy Gamers to come out and play a game. There are some titles that are hard to get to the table, let's try to get them the attention they deserve at a ChewsDay Challenge.

Who: Anyone interested in playing boardgames. The venue is suitable for many different styles of games: (Wargames, Euro Games, Crokinole, Chess, Go, Scrabble, Backgammon, etc.)

Although not necessary, we urge you to post in this thread if you are coming and what games you might bring or would like to play. Prearranging some games helps get some of the harder titles to the table. Perhaps you have seen someone post about a game in THIS THREAD (http://sask.games/index.php?topic=1799.0), this might be an opportunity to get them to bring out the game and show you.

Every ChewsDay Challenge, we will have a Game Host on site to teach a game. This is a great way for new players to experience a game in a beginner friendly environment. The Weekly Game will be set up at 6:15pm and players are urged to be there for 6:30. The feature game will start at 6:45pm. Note: A number of us go early (5ish) to grab a bite to eat, you are welcome to join us.

As usual I am unsure of my work week, but IF I have tuesday evening free... put me down for a place. We own Smallworld/know the rules. My wife is also in.

Again, assuming I have the day off, so put me as a "backup" lol...

I'm hoping to attend & I would like to play Small World. Please put me on the waiting list. Once I get my babysitting sorted out, if there is still space, I'll commit fully.

I will be bringing Lords of Waterdeep since a couple of people asked me to bring it again so they could try it out. I will post another message once I get everything sorted out & will have a list of games I plan to bring.

Ah, Smallworld, excellent. Since someone has that, I'll probably bring Formula D and... Munchkin Quest? As backups. I probably won't be able to show up until 7, so if a game's already in progress, I'll probably have to miss out right away. Other than that, I'm in!

I will be attending on Tuesday. I would love to play Munchkin Quest & Formuls D. Sign me up. I'll bring Lords of Waterdeep & a couple others. I'm looking forward to it. Last week was a blast. See you there.

Kathy and I will be showing up around 6:30-7. After we eat we'll be up for a game or two.

I'm going to be a little late tomorrow. I'm going to probably be there closer to 7:00. I'd like to play a couple of the games that have been mentioned in this thread but I'll probably just have to jump in to one when I get there. See you tomorrow.

I plan on being there by 5:30 to grab a bite to eat. If anyone wants to come early, you are welcome to join me. I have a few games that I am bringing to tonight as well. If there is a spot open in Small World, I may jump in, otherwise I will be happy to play pick up games.

I'll be going tonight for a short while (I'm buying a game off Matt) and should be there sometime after 9:00.  I may join a game if there happens to be one starting at that time, but I'll most likely just have a quick  :guinness before heading home for much needed sleep.
